It’s not that your child isn’t trying…

You’re saying the right things—but something isn’t clicking, and it’s turning into a daily cycle of frustration for both of you.

🗣️ What You Say

“Start your homework.”

“Focus please.”

“Finish what you started.”

“Stop getting distracted.”

⚡ What Actually Happens

They delay or avoid starting

They lose focus within minutes

Tasks drag on (or never get finished)

You repeat yourself… again and again

This is NOT a discipline problem.

And it’s NOT because your child is “lazy.”

Your child doesn’t need more reminders… they need the right tools.

Focus isn’t something children are born knowing how to do.

It’s a skill.

And like any skill—it needs to be taught step-by-step.

When children understand how to focus, everything starts to change.

A Simple, Step-by-Step System That Teaches Your Child How to Focus

Most children are never taught how to focus.

They’re told to:
“Pay attention.”
“Finish your work.”
“Stop getting distracted.”

But no one shows them HOW to actually do it.

That’s exactly what the Smart You Focus Program solves.

In just 4 weeks, your child can build:

  • Better focus

  • Task completion habits

  • Independence

  • Confidence

What's inside the box?

Everything your child needs to build focus, step by step.

Guidebook: Step-by Step parent guide that develops executive function skills that are essential for your child’s well-being and success.

Mini-organizer: This captures thoughts and daily plans.

Visual Timer: Helps your child work in short, manageable time blocks—so starting feels easier.

Magnetic Clips: “Out of sight, out of mind.” This keeps important reminders visible.

Labeller/Stickies: Identifies and categorizes materials

Fidget Tool: Supports self-regulation—keeps hands engaged when appropriate

Highlighter: Color-coding system for active note-taking.

Smart You Pen with Stylus & Phone holder: Creates a “park  your phone routine” during focus time.

Growth Mindset Stamps: Celebrates efforts, not just outcomes.

What you'll get:

✔ Tools that make focus easier
✔ Simple routines your child follows
✔ Homework sessions are shorter
✔ Fewer tantrums around transitions
✔ Better grades because they’re actually retaining information
✔ More independence in doing hard things
✔ Better organization so things do not go missing as often
✔ Guidance so you’re not guessing

This is what happens when children learn how to focus…

The visual timer is very effective. It made our routines predictable and made our transitions smoother.

Maria Bernasor, Planning Time Teacher

This is a great tool for routines and transition. It made my students understand how much time they had especially during independent activities.

I like it because it has clear visual countdown and is pretty straight-forward.

I have been using this visual timer both in my classroom and at home, and it has truly been a game changer. It’s such a simple tool, but it makes a huge difference in helping children understand the concept of time in a concrete, visual way. In my classroom, it helps my students stay focused and manage transitions more smoothly. Whether we’re working on independent tasks, cleaning up, or rotating between centers, they can clearly see how much time is left. This reduces constant “How much longer?” questions and helps ease their anxiety around transitions. It also encourages independence because my students can monitor their own time without needing repeated reminders. At home, it’s just as helpful. I use it for homework time, screen time limits, and even daily routines like getting ready for bed. My children respond so much better when they can see the colour in the timer, instead of just hearing my verbal reminder. It has minimized power struggles and makes home expectations clearer. Overall, this Smart You visual timer is a fantastic tool for building time awareness, independence, and smoother routines both in my classroom and at home. I highly recommend it to teachers and parents alike.

But, what if...

My child still gets distracted?
That’s normal. This system teaches them how to refocus—not be perfect.

I don’t have time to guide them?
The program is designed to build independence—so your role becomes lighter.

What if my child resists?
The tools are simple and engaging—so it doesn’t feel like punishment.

Is this for kids with short attention spans?
Yes. Especially for children who struggle to start, stay, or finish tasks.

What this can look like at home…

You say, “Start your homework.”
And they actually start.

They stay with it a little longer.
They don’t give up as quickly.

And for once—you’re not repeating yourself every few minutes.

Tasks get done.
Tension goes down.

Things just feel… easier.

But here’s the part most parents don’t realize.

Right now, your child is also learning patterns—avoiding tasks, getting used to distraction, and feeling frustrated when they can’t finish.

And the longer this continues, the more those patterns stick.

That’s why this matters now.

When your child learns how to focus, step by step, those patterns start to change.

✔ They begin to start on their own

✔ They stay on track longer

✔ They follow through and finish

This is what happens when focus becomes a skill—not a daily struggle.

Give Your Child the Skills They’ll Use for Life
